Range
Ce. Pacific Ocean off sw. United States and w. Mexico;
Breeds on is. off the w. coast of the Baja, Mexico (San Benito, Cedros, San Martin, Natividad and Guadelupe Is.).
Disperses mainly into e. n. Pacific Ocean in w. Mexican waters off Sonora, Sinaloa, Nayarit, Jalisco, Colima and Guerrero s. offshore to seas just n. of the Galapagos Is. and n. to the United States (c. California, Monterey Bay and Mendocino County) and sw. Canada (sw. British Columbia).
