Range

Cw. and se. tropical South America;
Two populations;
W. population has an ex. restricted range;
(1) Ne. Paraguay, se. Brazil (s. and c. Bahia (Chapada Diamantina, Lencois, Boa Nova, and Encruzilhada)) and ne. Argentina (Misiones).
(2) Foothills of Andes in w. Bolivia (La Paz in the vicinity of Apolo).
