Fragmented distribution in n. part of range;
(1) Isolated population in n. Nigeria (Jos Plateau). Zaire e. to Uganda, w. Kenya, w. and sw. Tanzania and s. to Angola, n. Zambia, and Malawi.
(2) S. Kenya and n. Tanzania.
(3) Coastal s. Mozambique.
Disperses inland to n. Botswana.
(4) S. Botswana.
(5) S. Angola, s. Zambia, and e. Zimbabwe.
(6) Ne. South Africa (Natal and sw. Transvaal) and Orange Free State.
(7) Sw. Angola and nw. Namibia.
(8) S. Namibia and w. South Africa (s. Cape Province).
