(1) Ex. sw. Canada (sw. British Columbia) and nw. United States (w. and c. Washington, w. Oregon).
Nonbreeding birds in n. California.
(2) W. United States (sc. Oregon, ne. California, and wc. Nevada).
(3) W. United States (nw. California from Del Norte s. to Marin County).
(4) W. United States (c. coastal California s. to Monterey Bay).
(5) W. United States (c. California including Sacramento Valley).
(6) S. California s. from San Benito county and nw. Mexico (nw. Baja s. to 30°N) including Santa Cruz Is. and Santa Catalina off s. California.
(7) Wc. Baja on Isla de Cedros and adjacent mainland.
(8) Sw. Baja 26°N s. to 24°N.
(9) Formerly San Clemente Is. off s. California.
(10) Formerly Guadalupe Is. off w. Baja.
(11) Interior sw. United States from e. California, s. Nevada and s. Utah, Wyoming, Colorado e. to w. Texas and nw. Mexico (ne. Sonora, Chihuaha, and Coahuila s. to n. Zacatecas).
(12) C. United States (n. and e. Kansas, e. Nebraska, se. Minnesota, s. Iowa, and s. Wisconsin s. to Mississippi).
(13) Sc. United States (w. and s. Kansas, w. Oklahoma, and most of Texas), and ne. Mexico (n. Tamaulipas and n. Nuevo Leon).
(14) E. Kansas, Oklahoma and possibly n. Arkansas.
(15) Coastal s. Texas s. to c. Tamaulipas.
(16) C. plateau of Mexico (Mexican highlands from s. Zacatecas and s. Nuevo Leon s. to Jalisco, Michoacan, Morelos, and Tlaxcala).

(18) Very locally in ec. and sc. United States mostly in Kentucky, Tennessee, West Virginia, and Virginia.
