Fragmented distribution;
(1) Se. England, s. and e. Europe (Lithuania, Karsiborska Kepa in the Swina River Delta, Poland and Apaj Puszta, Kiskunsag National Park, Hungary), Balkans, Turkey and Syria, s. to Spain, Italy, and Sicily.
(2) Sc. Turkey.
(3) E. Europe, s. Russia from Black Sea e. to Caspian Sea and Aral Sea, Kazakhstan, Iran, w. Afghanistan, sw. and cs. Siberia in the Altai and Transbaicalia, Mongolia, n. China (w. Sinkiang e. through Kansu, e. and n. Tsinghai, Ningsia, Inner Mongolia, and Heilungkiang (Manchuria).
