(1) Senegambia, s. Mauritania, Guinea-Bissau, Guinea, s. Mali, Burkina Faso, s. Niger, n. Ghana, Togo, Benin, s. Nigeria, and Cameroon.
(2) N. Nigeria, s. Chad (Lake Chad area), and Central African Republic.
(3) Ce. Zaire s. in the Congo basin to n. Zambia.
(4) Ne. Sudan, nw. Ethiopia, and Eritrea.
(5) Ex. se. Sudan, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, w. Kenya and nw. Tanzania.
Introduced to Sao Tome.
The Victoria Masked-weaver or Entebbe Weaver occurs in s. Uganda along the shores of Lake Victoria near Entebbe.
