Andes of cw. South America;
C. Peru (Ancash, Junin) s. in w. Bolivia (La Paz, Cochabamba, Oruru) to ex. n. Chile (Arica on Lake Parinacota and Lake Cotacotani, Antofagasta and Tarapaca on lake Huasco) and ex. nw. Argentina (Jujuy).
