S. Africa;
S. from s. Zimbabwe, ex. s. Angola, ex. s. Mozambique to Namibia, Botswana and South Africa (Cape Province, Orange Free State, Transvaal).
Disperses n. in the nonbreeding season as far as se. Zaire and s. Mozambique.
