Sw. Australia in the Gascoyne and Pilbara regions (Lake Monger and Lake Herdsman near Perth). S. and se. Australia from ex. se. Northern Territory, s. Queensland (Lake Bindegolly) s. to New South Wales (Lake Bathurst, Leeton Swamp, Murray-Darling Basin and e. Lake Eyre Basin), se. South Australia (ICI Saltworks and Bool Lagoon), s. and w. Victoria (Kangaroo Lake, Werribee Swage Works), and e. Tasmania.
