Range

C. Asia;
Afghanistan, Tadzhikistan (Pamir Mountains), n. Pakistan, n. India (Himachal Pradesh, Assam), Nepal, Bhutan, Tibet and w. and n. China (nw. Sinkiang in the Tien Shan) and possibly in the Tarbagatai and Altai Mountains of w. Mongolia. Sc. China from Kansu, and Ningsia s. to Tsinghai and Szechwan.
