May have a fragmented distribution over most of range;
Angola e. through se. Zaire to Kenya (Nairobi and Meru NP's), sc. and ne. Tanzania including Zanzibar, Pemba Is., Malawi, Zambia s. to n. Namibia, n. and e. Botswana, Zimbabwe, s. Mozambique and ne. South Africa (e. Transvaal).
