Range

Ne. Africa e. to Pakistan;
Fragmented populations;
E. Mediterranean Basin from se. Libya to Egypt and the Red Sea coasts of n. Sudan, Eritrea, Yemen, Israel (Negev Desert), Jordan, Persian Gulf and Gulf of Oman coasts to sw. Pakistan.
Winters mostly in Madagascar and less frequently in se. Africa (c. and e. Kenya, coastal Mozambique and e. South Africa).
