Range

W. United States and ex. nw. Mexico;
Two populations;
(1) Nw. United States to sw. Washington and w. Oregon from the Columbia River to c. Idaho s. to c. California (Sierra Nevada).
Probably introduced to ex. sw. Canada (s. Vancouver Is.) and w. Washington. Introduced, but may be native to w. Idaho.
(2) S. Washington, e. Oregon, n. and w. Nevada, ne. and nc. California.
(3) S. California (Little San Bernardino Mountains in Riverside County and San Bernardino County).
(4) S. and wc. California, and ex. sw. Nevada to ex. n. Baja.
(5) Nw. Mexico (n. Baja).
