Range

Ce. and se. Africa;
Two populations:
(1) E. Zaire, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, w. and c. Kenya and s. to Tanzania, n. Zimbabwe and n. Mozambique.
(2) S. Angola and n. Namibia e. through n. Botswana to Zambia, Zimbabwe, Malawi and s. to se. South Africa (se. Tranvaal, e. Orange Free State, Natal (Wakkerstroom) and e. Cape Province).
