South America;
Highly fragmented distribution and uncertain dispersal pattern;
S. Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay to c. Argentina (Cordoba, Rio Negro and Buenos Aries). Apparently also occurs in se. Colombia (Meta), Venezuela, Guyana, Surinam and Guiana.
