E. Sudan, Ethiopia, nw. and sw. Somalia, ne. Uganda, sc. Kenya (c. highlands at Nairobi National Park se. through Amboselli National Park, Tsavo National Parks, and regularly after rains at Meru National Park and Marsabit), ne. and c. Tanzania (seasonally in e. Serengeti National Park).
