Range

Coastal Middle East;
E. shore of the Red Sea and the Arabian Peninsula and the shores of the Arabian Sea and Persian Gulf to Pakistan and in e. Africa along the coasts of the Sudan, Eritrea, Djibouti and Somalia, Socotra Is.
Winters along the coasts of Kenya, Tanzania, Mozambique and ne. South Africa along the shores of the w. Indian Ocean. Madagascar, Seychelles, Aldabra and Comoro Is. e. through the Persian Gulf and Arabian Sea to Pakistan and the w. coast of India to Adam's Bridge off Sri Lanka. Andaman Is. and Nicobar Is. A single site in s. peninsular Thailand.
