Australia and Tasmania;
Fragmented distribution;
Western Australia inland in the sw., Northern Territory, South Australia inland in the e. half, Victoria, New South Wales (Botany Bay and Lake Bathurst), Queensland and Tasmania. Possibly s. New Guinea.
