Range

Wc. and ec. India;
Two widely separated populations;
Recently seen in the plains an low foothills of the Akrani Range at the w. end of the Satpura Mountains near the Tapi River, Shahada, Maharashtra.
In the 19th century, reported from Madhya Pradesh and w. Orissa.
