Range

E. Australia. New Caledonia. Solomon Is.
Three populations;
(1) E. Australia from Queensland (Cape York Peninsula and J. C. Slaughter Falls near Brisbane), e. New South Wales (Morton National Park in the spring) and e. Victoria.
Winters in e. New Guinea and Aru Is.
(2) Solomon Is. (Bougainville, Shortland Is., Rendova, Kulambangra and Santa Isabel).
(3) New Caledonia.
